PAINTINGS
The concept of density is a constant in most all of my work - this time, in my paintings.  But rather than filling containers, it is the thick application of paint and other materials pushing up against the borders of a canvas, filling every possible space, that suggests 'density'.  The aesthetic for rich materials and process stem from my background in painting combined with a steady diet of stunning visual landscapes set within various stages of erosional drama.
